Refund Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

01. Overview

WalletX Pro subscriptions (Half-Yearly and Yearly plans) are sold and billed by our merchant of record, Paddle. Paddle handles the checkout, payment processing, applicable taxes, and customer billing support for every purchase. Your invoice and card statement will show Paddle.com as the seller.

02. All Sales Are Final

Purchases of WalletX Pro are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or covered by the exceptions in section 04 below. Please review the plan details on our pricing page carefully before purchasing.

03. Try Before You Buy

We keep sales final because you can fully evaluate WalletX without spending anything:

  • The Free plan is free forever and includes the core product — transactions, accounts, budgets, categories and insights.
  • Eligible new accounts can activate a 6-month free Pro trial with no payment method required. The trial never converts into a charge automatically — when it ends, you simply return to the Free plan.

04. Exceptions

A refund will be issued in the following cases:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges — if you were billed more than once for the same purchase, or charged an incorrect amount.
  • Unauthorized transactions — charges you did not make, subject to verification.
  • Service not delivered — if your payment completed but Pro was never activated on your account and we cannot activate it within a reasonable time.
  • Where required by law — including statutory consumer rights in your country of residence (for example, cooling-off rights in the EU and UK), which this policy does not limit or replace.

As merchant of record, Paddle may also issue refunds at its own discretion in accordance with its buyer terms.

05. How to Raise a Billing Issue

If you believe one of the exceptions above applies to you:

  • Email us at [email protected] with the email address you used at checkout and your receipt; or
  • Contact Paddle directly via paddle.net using the order details from your receipt email.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

06. After a Refund

If a refund is issued, your account returns to the Free plan. Your data — accounts, transactions, budgets and history — remains intact and accessible within the Free plan's limits. Nothing is deleted.
